Crown is committed to supporting our past and present employee community as well as our wider Australian communities as a whole.
Our organisation is built around supporting our people and their families. We have put into practice workplace initiatives to support employees inside and outside of their daily work; most recently this included providing assistance for employees and communities affected by natural disasters and hardship.
Whether you are a past or present employee we value all members of the Crown family and their contributions, so the Crown Alumni has been established to help us all stay connected.
Our commitment is demonstrated by our involvement in a wide variety of community and charity initiatives.
Just some of the examples of how we aim to help are:
- The Open Family Australia Christmas
- Many employees volunteer their time to help pack and distribute hundreds of hampers for at-risk and homeless young people.
- The KOALA (Kids Oncology and Leukaemia Action) Foundation
- Each year Crown hosts The Million Dollar Lunch, providing the venue, food and various raffle items along with the time of our employees and management teams to stage this gala fundraising event.
- The Shane Warne Foundation
- Crown stages events including the Footy Finals Luncheon and Shane Warne Charity Poker Tournaments to help seriously ill and underprivileged children in Australia.
- The Alannah and Madeline Foundation
- Crown supports and hosts the event Starry, Starry Night in support of caring for children affected by violence.
- Challenge
- Crown sponsors and hosts the Robert Allenby Gala Dinner and Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend Dinner to raise money for children living with cancer and blood disorders.
- Employee Donations
- We provide a platform for employees to support charities and causes by offering the ability to make one off donations direct from their pay as well as placing donation tins around the complex.
